Aaron Taylor

Aaron Taylor served six years in the United States Marine Corps, serving in both the Infantry and Diplomatic Security with four years of overseas deployment time. Aaron was rated with 100% disability due to combat service-related injuries while overseas. After the Marines, Aaron was hired by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office where he worked in patrol, full-time narcotics, full-time SWAT, and full-time K9 unit. Aaron served a total of 15 years as a police officer, retiring in 2018 from the K9 unit.

Prior to retirement, Aaron went back to college and finished his education at George Washington University, majoring in Police Science and Homeland Security.

The Ridgeside K9 Foundation was established in an effort to grow the mission statement of Ridgeside K9 and create a lasting footprint to support the mental health of the men and women who protect and serve our country.
